Crista Faith: A Journey in Art and Adventure
Dear reader,
I'm Crista Faith, and my life has always been intertwined with art. I was born in the Philippines, and from a young age, I found joy in drawing, crafting, and using natural materials to create art. Clay, painting, and other mediums have been my playground. Growing up, I loved exploring the ocean through snorkeling and beachcombing. I would often miss school days just to swim in the ocean. During the summers, I would visit my cousins in the rural mountains. Climbing trees, picking and tasting fruits, and immersing myself in nature were my forms of escape and sanctuary. Being surrounded by trees or under the ocean feels like home to me.
In my twenties, my adventurous spirit led me to outdoor sports. While living in Houston, I delved into mountain biking and motocross. Later, I moved to Colorado, where I embraced snowboarding, downhill mountain biking, hiking, and photography. Despite the thrill of these activities, I didn't feel completely at ease or free. A few years ago, I moved to San Francisco and immediately felt a sense of relief and belonging. I love the energy of the Bay Area. The foods are inventive and flavorful. One of my favorite aspects of the Bay Area is its color palette and beautiful scenery. There isn't a day that goes by where I don't admire its beauty—the hills, the bridges, the unlimited outdoor spaces, and its easy access to different cities and microclimates. Every time I cross the bridges, it's like living in a masterpiece. It was the place where I wanted to explore, create, and play. This is who I am.

My cousin in the Philippines inspired me to start tattooing by showing me how an artist can hone their skills, share their gifts, and bring joy to others. Creativity runs in my family, and I want to continue that legacy while embracing my origins. Mabuhay, Philippines!
In my spare time, I like to spend time with my dog, hang out with my friends, and explore the beautiful outdoors that California has to offer!

Currently, I reside temporarily in Oakland but aspire to live in San Francisco to be closer to the beach for surfing and paragliding at Mussel Rock.
I am incredibly grateful for the life I have and strive to live authentically and adventurously, hoping to inspire others to pursue their dreams and embrace creativity and play. I believe it's essential to give ourselves a sense of home and purpose and to live a story that others can witness to show that anything is possible.
Throughout my journey, my goal is to remain kind, humble, generous, and open-minded, embracing a life full of possibilities. I will continue to share my stories to inspire others, especially my family and people in the Philippines. Life is beautiful, an adventure, and sharing our stories makes the world a better place.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read a little bit about me. If you would like to connect, it would be my pleasure to hear your story too. Feel free to send me an email if you want to connect, become friends, share stories, or exchange services.
I am rooting for you. I believe in you.
